About Us: O’Malley Ice LLC operates Anchorage’s top ice arena, The Omalley Ice Center. We are committed to providing exceptional sports and entertainment experiences for the community.
Position Overview: As a Zamboni Driver, you will ensure smooth, safe ice surfaces for events such as hockey games, figure skating, and public skating. This role involves operating and maintaining the Zamboni while working closely with event coordinators to maintain seamless rink operations.

- Operate the Zamboni to resurface the ice, ensuring it is clean, smooth, and safe for skaters.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a focus on the well-being of skaters and staff.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the Zamboni to keep it in optimal working condition.
- Coordinate resurfacing schedules to ensure the ice is ready for every event.
- Collaborate with risk management and event coordinators to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Zamboni and facilities to provide a professional and organized environment.
- Keep accurate records of resurfacing activities, fuel usage, and maintenance checks.
- Assist with general rink upkeep, including cleaning and equipment setup.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience operating a Zamboni or similar machinery is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with staff and event organizers.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering great experiences.
